Food is great. waitress is pleasant. Egg Foo Yung is fantastic. We have been there twice and will go again.
We love visiting Isleton and have usually stopped at Peter's Steak House on the way home from birdwatching. But we decided to have a Chinese dinner instead of steak, and stopped here. Macy, the server, was helpful in getting us a set of dishes that would be more than enough for the 3 of us; we had plenty of leftovers! The vegetable and tofu dishes were cooked just right, so that veggies were crisp and everything was tasty. We ate, and talked, and Macy kept up with us and our tea needs. She is a great guide to eating here, and notes about the community as well as a great server! The hot and sour soup, which she decided we'd like best, was excellent and she was correct. Many thanks!
Going to Pineapples is like going back in time ! The food never disappoints and it's like eating in china town USA !!!! I highly recommend this place !!!
The Hot & Sour soup, or the Wanton soup is great when you have the winter sniffles. Just tell them to spice up the Wonton soup to get rid of the winter blahs. From the main menu, they have Plum Pork. I've never had it before eating here, and rarely see it on other menus. The rich & sticky sweet sauce is a breath of fresh air!
We were hesitant because of the reviews, but we still have a try and it was pretty good!! We ordered the pineapple chicken, orange chicken and Mongolian + fried rice and white rice. It was sooo delicious and my favorite was the pineapple! The service was very nice and helpful. It was a little dirty on the floor from maybe earlier costumers but the spaces it's nice. I do recommend and I think you should give it a try
Service was spot on. No problems with our server. Food, not the best. Overcooked on the Cashew Chicken. Honey Walnut Prawns were excellent and cooked perfectly. Ambiance, very old interior decorations, but okay.
